Last year, Zoe Kravitz was named as the new brand ambassador for YSL Beauty. At the time, the Big Little Lies actress said that the brand had “always been one of my favourites” and that “nothing is forced, nothing is fake but everything is bold, strong and unafraid.”
Now, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet has been revealed as the new face of the brand’s women’s fragrance, Black Opium. According to WWD, she will appear in a campaign for the fragrance that will launch on August 18, lensed by Tyrone LeBon and a film, shot by Jonas Lindstroem will also be released. She replaces Edie Campbell in the role.
YSL said of Kravitz’s appointment in a statement, “A much-followed style icon, just like Black Opium, she conveys an independent glamour and modernity, which reflects her authentic, confident and artistic personality.”
As far as partnerships go, this one might just be one of the coolest yet.
