If you’re losing track of the myriad things Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is up to, it’s because she’s moving at a mile a second. The former Victoria’s Secret model who launched her Rose Inc. beauty platform back in May and was part of Jimmy Choo’s autumn/winter 2018 campaign with Lily Aldridge and Joan Smalls is now potentially getting her own TV show.
Off the back of her social media competition, Next Beauty Star (with weekly challenges like creating a blue smokey eye) the idea was hashed out over an influencer-heavy dinner on Thursday night in LA to celebrate winner Cameron Day. It was hosted by Huntington-Whiteley and Moj Mahdara, the Media Chief Executive Officer of Beautycon who helped develop the concept. According to WWD Mahdara has reveaeled that “we’re working on it”.
In terms of the format, think Project Ruwnay, but the beauty version. And it will effectively be the same thing that was done on social media but fleshed out with a camera crew (and added suspense) in tow. The winner will then be sent to beauty school in LA.
So if you think you’re the next rising star in the beauty industry…
