L'Oréal Paris has just released its new hair campaign and it's all about beauty and diversity. Find out why here...

The new year kicked off on a high note for L’Oréal following the announcement that Alexa Chung and Winona Ryder have joined the French cosmetics company as brand ambassadors. Now, L’Oréal Paris has just released a game-changing campaign featuring beauty influencer Amena Khan.

Making waves in the beauty industry, L’Oréal is the first major international brand to tap a hijabi model in a hair campaign. First featured in the brand’s “All Worth It” campaign last year, the British L’Oréal Glam Squad Ambassador will now front the brand’s Elvive line — a selection of products that cater to a wide range of demanding hair types.

In the campaign, which also features brand ambassador Cheryl, model Neelam Gill, and former McFly singer Dougie Poynter, Amena said: “Whether or not your hair is on display, it doesn’t affect how much you care about it. For me, my hair is an extension of my femininity. I love styling my hair, I love putting products in it, and I love it to smell nice. It’s an expression of who I am.”
