Here’s how you can smell the flowers and raw materials used in Chanel’s iconic fragrances

The Jardins, Jardin event will start in May...
The ingredients injected into Chanel's luxury olfactory offerings can now be seen in detail at its next Parisian event...

Other than Chanel‘s signature tweed jackets, quilted Caviar handbags and unique timepieces, the French maison is synonymous with luxury beauty too.

Along with the brand’s coveted beauty products by Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer Lucia Pica, its iconic fragrance offerings — like N°5 for example — are also one of the brand’s key offerings.

With flowers at the heart of every scent, Chanel is planning to seed the fragrance’s flowers in Paris’ Tuileries Garden and you are invited to smell the flowers and raw materials used exclusively for the house’s perfumes.

Thanks to the Jardins, Jardin garden event set to run from May 31 to June 3, Chanel’s takeover of the 2,220 square foot garden will see a selection of rich ingredients including jasmine from Grasse, May rose, iris pallida, tuberose and rose geranium.

You’ll be able to get your hands on finished fragrances at the event and olfactory connoisseurs will be able to attend conferences on plants and perfumes, too.
