An official royal wedding perfume for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is in the works

It's kind of a tradition...
As the world waits for the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in just over a month, one perfume house is celebrating the duo early. Here's how...

It’s almost been seven years since one of the most-watched wedding events took place at London’s Westminister Abbey. We’re indeed speaking of when Prince William wed Kate Middleton (who was dressed in that now-iconic lace and satin gown by Alexander McQueen‘s Sarah Burton). On the occasion of their wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also celebrated with a bespoke scent created by perfume house Floris London.

Considered to be the oldest English retailer of fragrances and toiletries, the maison has had a long-standing royal relationship with the British ruling family and with another royal wedding set to take place next month, they have created the ultimate wedding scent to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The bespoke scent by Floris is described as “a unisex citrus marine eau de parfum that evokes the warmth of a Mediterranean sea breeze, sunshine and clear shimmering water” according to the Floris website.

Similar to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s fragrance, the scent is part of  Floris’ private collection and will not be available to the public. Whether the bride-to-be will wear the scent during the ceremony on May 19 is still uncertain.
