A few months back, Jen Atkin launched a limited edition fragrance under her haircare line, Ouai, and it won a legion of fans almost immediately. Fans of the fragrance were disappointed when it disappeared from shelves, but now they can rejoice as the celebrity hairstylist has just announced the launch of a range of four fragrances, to sit permanently within the brand’s offering.
The scents are named after four of Jen’s favourite streets around the globe: Mercer Street (New York), North Bondi (Sydney), Rue St. Honoré (Paris) and Melrose Place (LA). If you’re a fan of the brand’s shampoos, then Mercet Street is for you as it shares the same scent with notes of Turkish rose, jasmine sambac, iris, lily and white musk, whilst Melrose Place is the sister scent to the Rose Hair & Body Oil with notes of bergamot, luchee, cedar-wood and white musk and Rue St. Honoré mimics the brand’s first Hair Oil with notes of violet, gardenia, ylang ylang and white musk. North Bondi is a new scent for the brand, described as “the meeting of the city and the sea” with notes of Italian lemon, rose de mai, magnolia, lily, blackberry, vuilet, cedar-wood, amber, patchouli, sandalwood and white musk.
The scents are housed in a chic, minimalist clear glass bottle that will look seriously pretty on display in your house. They’ll go on sale from November 13.
And speaking of fragrance, Goutal Paris has released a limited edition run of 60 perfumes globally, two of which are available in Dubai right now.
