In news that will certainly please beauty enthusiasts across the world, Italian luxury label Gucci has just launched its very own Instagram account dedicated to all things beauty.
Just days before showcasing Alessandro Michele‘s Spring/Summer ’19 collection show for Gucci during Paris Fashion Week, the Creative Director announced the debut of the account which will share his vision of beauty.
Under the handle @Guccibeauty, the new page will be dedicated to Gucci’s launches in the beauty department and will focus on fragrances (which only debuted in the summer of 2017) and backstage beauty looks from the fashion shows, as well as special collaborations with artists and talents.
To celebrate the debut of Gucci’s new beauty account, the first few posts feature artworks that span across history, ethnicity, culture and geography. The images have been sourced from several different galleries and private collections around the world, and have captions of the art writers recounting the stories behind these works.
We can expect to see more real-life beauty images after the brand’s show on September 24, 2018. Stay tuned!
