CHANEL proves the bold liner is not going anywhere

Get the beauty look from Chanel's Haute Couture show...

There was a subtle rock’n’roll vibe to CHANEL‘s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2021-2022 collection as delicately embroidered dresses were juxtaposed against an edgy beauty look.

There was a softness and feminine aesthetic that ran through the entire collection and Lucia Pica reimagined these codes, serving it with a side of punk. Offering chunky Dutch braids that were turned into mohawks, they were then tied at the back with big black long-velvet ribbons (a house signature).

Zooming in on the model’s faces, Lucia proved the bold eyeliner is not going anywhere any time soon. A duo of wings was captured on the upper and lower lids with a matte black and a midnight blue adding definition to the eyes. The rest of the makeup remained fresh and simple with minimal base makeup and tinted lips.

Discover how to achieve the couture beauty look by Lucia Pica below…

SKIN
Prep your skin with Hydra Beauty Micro-Sérum and Hydra Beauty Camellia Water Cream and Sublimage La Brume.

FACE
Ensuring beautifully cleared skin and neutral coverage, Lucia Pica used Les Beiges Teint, Les Pinceaux de Chanel N°105 Retractable Dual-Ended Concealer and Les Beiges in a pearly glow and sunkissed finish for the base. Cheeks were then sculpted with Joues Contraste in 608 Ombre.

EYES
The eyes were subtly smoked in neutral-pink tones courtesy of Les 4 Ombres in 378 Douceur et Sérénité and boldly lined with Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Bleu Métal and Noir Intense. Brows were then primmed with the signature defining long-wear eyebrow pencil.

LIPS
Lips remained neutral with a hint of pink using the Rouge Coco Bloom lipstick in Chance.

NAILS
The overall beauty look was complete with nails in a Ballerina hue.

The limited exclusive creations will be available only in CHANEL boutiques and CHANEL.com from August 2021.
