What does your definition of a luxury suite entail? Is it the square footage, the mood lighting, the bespoke sheets? Maybe it’s the discreet service or the view that practically begs to be Instagrammed. The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles believes it’s something else entirely: the glow that comes from feeling refreshed, indulged, and truly taken care of.
Starting next month, the Ritz-Carlton LA is rolling out its new “Sanctuary Services,” a menu of in-room treatments and amenities that put beauty at the forefront of the stay. Leading the charge is the hotel’s first-ever Beauty Fridge, a curated mini-refrigerator filled not with late-night temptations, but with a ritual of high-end skincare products designed to leave you looking red-carpet ready without setting foot outside your suite.
Valued at $142, the fridge is stocked with beauty essentials and more. Guests can expect a travel kit complete with Hinoki Cleanser, Lipid Serum, and Hyvia Moisturizer, alongside Epicutis Lipid Recovery and soothing eye masks. Chilled cryotherapy globes—ideal for de-puffing after long flights—are included and can be taken home. The experience goes even further with access to a SkinAct LED light therapy mask during the stay, a treatment increasingly popular with facialists and recommended by plastic surgeons for its potential to help with fine lines, sunspots, and pore refinement.
Because skincare is never one-size-fits-all, guests can book a consultation with the Ritz-Carlton spa up to 72 hours before arrival. Based on individual concerns—hydration, anti-aging, recovery, or maintenance—the fridge can be tailored to each guest’s needs. In other words, no more cramming your full skincare lineup into a carry-on just to keep your glow consistent on the road.
Luxury hotels have long focused on the details that make a stay memorable: artisanal bath amenities, fine linens, impeccable service. With the launch of the Beauty Fridge, the Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles is expanding that definition, turning beauty itself into part of the in-room experience. In a city that thrives on premieres, award shows, and high-wattage appearances, this pivot feels less like an experiment and more like a natural evolution of what five-star living should look like.
