RIHANNA PERFORMS AT THE 2023 SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW

This is what we came for
She made us feel like she was the only girl in the world for her 13-minute set...

The singer finally took the stage at Super Bowl LVII for the Apple Music Halftime Show overnight after years of not performing. Dazzling the crowd with a career-spanning setlist in her first performance since 2018, the multi-hyphenate kicked off her 12-song set list on platforms hanging from the ceiling of State Farm Arena in Arizona.

The singer ran through an incredible set that began with “B— Better Have My Money,” “Where Have You Been?” “Only Girl in the World,” “We Found Love,” “Rude Boy,” “Work,” “Wild Thoughts,” “Pour It Up,” “All of the Lights,” “Run This Town” and “Umbrella,” before ending with a crowd-rising rendition of her hit song, “Diamond.”

And whilst yes, we were there for the music, fans were quick to notice the 34-year-old’s baby bump as she was spotted cradling it during her opening number. This was later confirmed by her official reps and with that, Rihanna became the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.

Throughout her performance, Rihanna mostly stuck to one sartorial look throughout the show. Wearing a bespoke boiler suit with a red bodysuit and breastplate by Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson, she topped off her look with a Jacob & Co watch, MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Cross High sneakers in orange, a Fenty face (of course) and dangly diamond earrings by Messika — a perfect nod to her finale song.

For her final song, she rocked a custom Alaïa leather maxi puffer coat with integrated gloves designed by Pieter Mulier.

Now that Rihanna’s pregnancy is confirmed, does that mean we’ll have to wait another couple of years before we get a new album?! We hope not.
