Since 2009, Kage‘s Basma Abu Ghazaleh has been delivering some achingly cool collections and statement wardrobe pieces to women in the region, and across the globe, too. The fashion brand has become one of the most recognised labels in the region, with a decade of success under its belt.
No better way to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Kage released a new collection for Resort 2020 and it’s all about the brand’s archives.
The 25-piece lineup includes a slew of feminine silhouettes that have taken its design cues from past collections and modernising them to create the ultimate wardrobe for the season.
“I’m so proud of Kage’s evolution, it has notably matured over time and the same can be said for me and my growth as a designer,” says Basma. “While the brands aesthetic has remained much the same, our designs have become more refined, retaining the inherent DNA of the brand. For our Resort 2020 collection, we have developed a montage of iconic looks that have been reimagined in a collection entitled, the Archive. Familiar favourites are given new life as we update them to suit today’s fashion climate. It’s a celebration of our history and its bright colours and playful designs reflect that.”
The collection is now available at Bykage.com, Ounass.com, Etoile Boutique, Harvey Nichols — Riyadh and Harvey Nichols — Kuwait.
