Christian Louboutin is expanding his empire, specifically through the launch of a brand new category: men’s belts.
Crafted from the same luxurious leather as his iconic shoes, the belts are all made in Italy and come in a variety of metal finishes. There are four key styles, each of which represents different facets of the house’s savoir-faire: the Ricky features a seemingly autographed buckle and two of its variations have the house’s iconic red hue; the Eternalou has intertwined metal shapes and is described by the brand as “a technical achievement of its own” thanks to the fact “it recalls impossible pictures in trompe-l’oeil hypnotising the eyes and capturing the attention”; the Louis pays tribute to one of the house’s most iconic shoes, the very first pair of sneakers designed by the footwear maestro, and features spike details on the buckle; and the CL is finished with the designer’s initials as the belt buckle and is reversible.
