The first official event of the season, the Golden Globes is one of the most highly anticipated of the year. And this year has turned out to be particularly momentous.
Off the back of a year of female empowerment in 2017, female celebrities have banded together in solidarity for this year’s event with all major stars donning black dresses on the red carpet. The black dress code is in relation to the new Time’s Up initiative, led by 300 of Hollywood’s top names, including Reese Witherspoon, Emma Watson and Kerry Washington, all of whom were present on this morning’s red carpet.
The ceremony is just now getting underway (where we’ll undoubtedly be presented with a whole host of empowering speeches) so we’ll bring you a list of winners and top moments as they happen, but in the meantime see the stars as they arrived below…
