There is something deeply human about the act of giving. It is how we translate love into form, how we capture a fleeting feeling and let it linger. Chanel has always understood this quiet poetry. For the house, gifting has always been a way to honour emotion, transforming sentiment into something tangible, precious, and enduring.

Mystical motifs have always been at the heart of that expression. Chanel understands the power of these emblems and their ability to comfort, to protect, to reveal something personal about the wearer. They give shape to what words cannot hold and turn belief into beauty. Among them, the stars have long held a special place. They return each holiday season not as decoration but as a reminder of the house’s fascination with the cosmos and its connection to destiny.

Gabrielle Chanel often looked to the heavens for guidance, believing in the delicate balance between fate and freedom. She surrounded herself with symbols that carried meaning beyond appearance. Each one reflected her private universe of belief and intuition. The Chanel Makeup Creation Studio, together with Cécile Paravina of the Comètes Collective, draws from that same celestial code to craft the Holiday 2025 collection.

The collection tells the story of endings and beginnings, of a year that closes in brilliance before unfolding anew. The face becomes a landscape for starlight through ‘Les Signes de Chanel,’ duos of blush and highlighter etched with the house’s five sacred emblems. ‘Rose Lumière’ brings a tender pink radiance, while ‘Pêche Lumière’ casts a soft golden warmth. The eyes inherit the drama of the night with ‘Les 4 Ombres Nuit Astrale’, where hues of blue-grey, silver, lavender, and aqua trace the language of constellations.

Metallic liners in orange and crimson follow the trail of shooting stars, and mascara in deep blue-grey intensifies the gaze. Lips glow in ‘Rouge Allure Velvet’ shades of rosewood and redwood, while ‘Rouge Allure Laque’ adds cosmic shimmer in tones inspired by meteors and nebulae. Even fingertips reflect the celestial theme with nail polish in ‘Cosmique’ and ‘Alchimiste,’ shades that recall molten light and distant skies.

Beyond color, the ritual of radiance continues through scent and touch. The new ‘N°5 The White Gold Body Oil’ and ‘Coco Mademoiselle Pearly Body Oil’ illuminate the skin with a luminous sheen, transforming fragrance into texture. Chanel’s iconic perfumes — ‘N°5,’ ‘Coco Mademoiselle,’ ‘Chance Eau Splendide,’ ‘Bleu de Chanel,’ and ‘Allure Homme Sport’ — appear in limited-edition sleeves that glimmer like the galaxies that inspired them.

Chanel’s Holiday 2025 collection speaks of connection, meaning, and memory and how beauty becomes a vessel for gifting.
