This season, the fashion crowd has found a new way to accessorize. Enter belt stacking. Last year, we witnessed the return of Boho, Y2K style studded belts. Whether you prefer to wrap the nostalgic accessory around your hips for a noughties-inspired look or choose to have it cinch your waist, this year is about going all in on the belt trend. What does that mean, you ask? Well, let’s just say one belt is no longer enough to accessorize your outfits. Belt stacking is the new cool.
While Bella Hadid–who is always ahead of the style curve–sported multi-belt looks years ago, Dua Lipa and Kylie Jenner are the latest celebrities to indulge in belt stacking. Both Lip and Jenner made an appearance at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2025 Couture show with a string of belts neatly wrapped around their waists.
That’s not all; on the runways, brands like Ralph Lauren and Miu Miu gave their seal of approval to the belt-stacking trend at their Spring/Summer 2025 shows. Further, off the runways, fashion week attendees strutted the streets with a number of belts–from leather to chain ones–bundled up around their waists.
So, how exactly does one go about this trend? From matching belts piled up against one another to diverse styles buckled up together, there are absolutely no rules when it comes to belt stacking.
