In 2025, history will be made as Artemis III becomes the first crewed lunar landing since Apollo 17 in 1972 and the first time a woman will step onto the lunar surface. Meet Christina Hammock Koch, a 45-year-old American engineer and NASA astronaut. With a remarkable track record that includes the longest single spaceflight—328 days—Koch is a symbol of the incredible heights women can reach. She will be joined by fellow astronauts Jeremy Roger HansenVictor J. Glover, and Gregory Reid Wiseman as they embark on this monumental journey to the Lunar South Pole.

The AxEMU spacesuit is engineered for extreme adaptability and performance, allowing astronauts to conduct spacewalks for up to eight hours while tackling the challenges posed by lunar dust and extreme temperatures. Each suit has been meticulously designed, incorporating innovative features and safety protocols.
