The 2024 VMAs proved once again why it’s one of the most anticipated events in the music industry. Before the popstars made their way inside, they gave the papprazzi cameras a mini performance of their own on the red carpet––flaunting their sartorial prowess.
SABRINA CARPENTER
Sabrina Carpenter is cementing herself as a style icon, one outfit at a time. Her latest sartorial win? The sparkling archival Bob Mackie gown, previously worn by Madonna at the 1991 Oscars, that she wore to the 2024 VMAs. The stunning dress was sourced by the singer’s styling team via Tab Vintage. The stunning white dress featured a sweetheart neckline adorned with silver beaded accents, which beautifully highlighted her delicate De Beers necklace. She complemented the look with matching earrings and a ring from the same brand.
TAYLOR SWIFT
Taylor Swift has taken her recent love affair with checkered prints to the red carpet. At the 2024 VMAs, Swift walked the red carpet in a high-low tartan corset dress Dior. She paired the front-open style with black velvet shorts, knee-high boots by Stuart Weitzman, fingerless leather gloves, and a Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Blackpink fame Lalisa Manobal made a head-turning entrance at the 2024 VMAs in a hooded corset dressed by Mugler. The bespoke design featured a corseted bodice, sculptural neckline, draped waist and a hood. She completed the look with a stunning Bvlgari ‘Serpenti’ necklace that was coiled around her neck.

The host for the night, Megan Thee Stallion treated us to several outfits at the 2024 VMAs. Our favorite? The dramatic black gown by Nicole + Felicia. Her ensemble featured a fitted corseted bodice and a sheer mesh bodycon skirt, which gave way to a voluminous trumpet flair that wrapped around her legs, creating a bold silhouette. She completed the look with jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz, ensuring all eyes were on her as she prepared to host the night’s festivities.
KATY PERRY
Ahead of receiving the prestigious Video Vanguard Award at the 2024 VMAs, Katy Perry walked the red carpet in astandout piece from Who Decides War‘s Spring 2025 collection. Fresh from the runway, the gown highlighted Victorian-inspired elements with its ivory tones, distressed fabrics, and asymmetrical draping. The tattered detailing lent a hauntingly elegant twist to the outfit, giving us a red carpet look to remember.

Paris Hilton brought the bling to the red carept. Demanding eyeballs as she walked the 2024 VMAs red carpet, Hilton stunned in a scintiallting silver chainmail dress by Celia Kritharioti. She made a statement with her glittering silver creation, which featured an edgy distressed design crafted from sparkling chainmail. Hilton finished the look with diamond-encrusted layered chokers, silver bracelets, and matching silver shoes.
