Yes, Jacquemus x Timberland is officially in the pipeline. The French fashion darling, best known for his Mediterranean minimalism, is teaming up with Timberland, the OG of rugged boots and streetwear legacy. It’s the kind of collaboration that makes you pause and ask, “Wait, really?”—right before realizing that, actually, it kind of makes perfect sense.There’s no official release date or product visuals (yet), except for the pale yellow box bearing both the logos that the brands posted to their Instagram stories.
Jacquemus has a knack for taking something basic and making it covetable again. His work with Nike proved he could walk the fine line between functional and fashionable without ever tipping into try-hard territory. With Timberland, he’s got the raw material; now it’s just a matter of how weird and wonderful he decides to go.
