In the competitive world of luxury fashion, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are committed to nurturing new talent. With their Supported by Dolce & Gabbana project established in collaboration with Katie Grand, the fashion powerhouse has provided a platform for designers like Miss Sohee, Matty Bovan, Tomo Koizumi, and Karoline Vitto. Now, the Italian maison is shining the spotlight on Feben.
Hailing from Ethiopia and raised in Sweden, Feben has carved her path in the fashion world from her current base in London. A Central Saint Martins MA graduate and Isabella Blow Scholar, Feben has curated a style that transcends borders. Her designs, characterized by a surreal allure, effortlessly blend matter and form, crafting distinctive silhouettes and vibrant, intense prints.
This collaboration between Supported by Dolce & Gabbana and Feben goes beyond a mere sponsorship; it’s a comprehensive partnership encompassing every facet of the creative process. Dolce & Gabbana is dedicated to nurturing Feben’s vision, providing financial support, materials, and textiles to bring her new collection to life.
Feben’s grand debut is set to unfold at the Dolce & Gabbana building on Via Broggi 23 in Milan, marking the brand’s premiere show at Milan Fashion Week in February 2024. The anticipation surrounding Feben’s collection is heightened by the brand’s unwavering commitment to the hand-crafted ethos, a sentiment echoed by the Italian designer duo.
In response to this extraordinary opportunity, Feben expresses her gratitude, saying, “I feel incredibly honored to have been selected to showcase my work with Dolce & Gabbana for Fall/Winter 2024. It will be the brand’s first show at Milan Fashion Week, which is such a privilege, and the support gives the brand an opportunity to evolve and reach new audiences. I’m so grateful to have been chosen to participate.”
