Rome’s legendary Cinecittà studios shimmered with quiet elegance as the world première of Brunello, the Gracious Visionary unfolded on December 4.

Directed by Academy Award–winning filmmaker Giuseppe Tornatore and scored by fellow Oscar laureate Nicola Piovani, the documentary offers a poetic, deeply textured portrait of Brunello Cucinelli, the designer whose name has become synonymous with Italian craft, ethical entrepreneurship, and timeless luxury.

Through Tornatore’s cinematic lens, Cucinelli’s world emerges as a place where philosophy meets fashion, and where the pursuit of beauty is inseparable from the pursuit of humanity. Rising star Saul Nanni steps into the role of a young Cucinelli, capturing the idealism and curiosity that would later shape a global empire built on dignity and craftsmanship.

He’s joined by a talented supporting cast including Francesco Cannevale, Francesco Ferroni, Emma Fatone, and Beatrice Carlani.Produced by Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. and MasiFilm with Rai Cinema, this documentary is a celebration of an ethos.

After its radiant Rome debut, Brunello, the Gracious Visionary arrives in Italian cinemas on December 9, 10, and 11, inviting viewers inside the life and mind of fashion’s most gracious modern philosopher.
