Here’s everything you need to know about Princess Beatrice’s wedding

A wedding date has been set!
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are set to tie the knot on May 29...

Princess Beatrice first announced her engagement to fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi back in September, however no further details have been shared about their 2020 wedding — until now that is. The royal family have finally confirmed that the happy couple will have a May wedding in London.

Over the weekend, Buckingham Palace took to the public that HRH and Mozzi will wed on May 29, 2020, in The Chapel Royal in St. James’s Palace.

The wedding venue can hold up to 150 guests (whilst around 800 attended her sister, Princess Eugenie’s wedding) so the nature of the upcoming royal wedding is set to be an intimate and low-key affair.

“The Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace,” read a statement posted on social media. “The ceremony will be followed by a private reception, given by The Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.”

This will be the first royal wedding reception hosted at Buckingham Palace since Will and Kate’s in 2011.

Will Princess Beatrice follow in her sister’s footsteps and wed in Peter Pilotto? We’ll just have to wait and see…
