Every year, the world’s top chef and restaurateurs gather for the annual ‘World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ awards and this year, the biggest night for the culinary heroes have jet-setted to Singapore to discuss and reveal where we need to make our next reservations abroad.
Mediterranean venue Mirazur, located in Menton, France, has taken the number one spot. Beating out last year’s Chef Massimo Bottura at Osteria Francescana, Italy, this year’s restaurant is run by Argentinian-Italian chef Mauro Colagreco. The victory adds to the remarkable year they’ve been having, which began with Mirazur being awarded its third Michelin star.
Sadly, no restaurants in the Middle East have made the cut however, this gives us yet another reason to travel across the globe and experience the most exclusive gastronomic delights. The list includes Spain, Italy, Russia, Chile, Peru, Singapore, USA and plenty more.
