Scroll for stellar releases.
As Breitling celebrates 140 years of innovation, it's not just about looking back, it's about honoring the milestones that shaped history. From revolutionizing timekeeping across air, land, and sea to pioneering sustainable practices, Breitling's legacy is a tapestry of firsts. Today, BURO shines a spotlight on two legendary timepieces: the iconic Navitimer, a trailblazer melding chronograph and computational slide rule for pilots, and the Cosmonaute, the Swiss wristwatch that conquered space with its 24-hour precision. Fresh off the launch pad are the latest iterations: meet the Navitimer GMT and Automatic 41, alongside the all-new self-winding Cosmonaute. Dive into the future with Breitling.

BREITLING NAVITIMER EVOLUTION: WHERE CLASSIC MEETS MODERN ELEGANCE.

In 2022, Breitling embarked on a journey to redefine its iconic Navitimer series, starting with the revered original chronograph. Today, that evolution continues with two sleek newcomers: the Navitimer GMT and Automatic, both boasting a refined 41-mm size that’s universally appealing.

These timepieces are a masterclass in simplicity, stripping away the chronograph function while maintaining the Navitimer’s signature balance. The GMT’s central 24-hour scale and the Automatic’s clean dial design ensure the intricate slide rule takes center stage, exuding timeless sophistication. Breitling’s attention to detail shines through with a modern notched bezel and alternating polished and brushed finishes, creating a captivating interplay of light. Comfort and style merge seamlessly with alligator leather straps and bracelets featuring a convenient butterfly clasp.

Available in an array of captivating hues: including black, blue, silver, ice blue, and green—the dials are encased in stainless steel or luxurious 18k red gold, with a striking two-tone option for the Automatic. The Origins label adorns the full-gold models, symbolizing ethically sourced gold in alignment with the Swiss Better Gold Association’s rigorous standards. This reinvention of the Navitimer bridges the past and the present, catering to enthusiasts and trendsetters alike. With each timepiece, Breitling reaffirms its dedication to heritage and innovation, ensuring that the Navitimer remains a timeless icon for generations to come.

FROM SPACE TO EARTH: BREITLING’S LEGENDARY COSMONAUTE RETURNS.

Back in 1962, astronaut Scott Carpenter enlisted Breitling’s expertise to tailor the iconic Navitimer for space exploration. The result? The groundbreaking Cosmonaute, equipped with a 24-hour dial for distinguishing day and night in orbit—a pioneering feat that made history on May 24, 1962.

Now, as Breitling celebrates its 140th anniversary, it’s resurrecting this space-age marvel with a limited edition twist: introducing the self-winding chronograph movement, the Breitling manufacture caliber B12. Limited to just 250 pieces, this exclusive release embodies luxury and innovation. Encased in radiant 18k red gold, its lush green dial and golden numerals exude timeless elegance, paired with a sleek black alligator leather strap. Turn it over to reveal the mesmerizing open caseback, showcasing the intricate B12 movement and its remarkable oscillating weight. With approximately 70 hours of power reserve and a 5-year warranty, this masterpiece is as reliable as it is breathtaking.

Each watch bears a special engraving commemorating its heritage as the “First Swiss Wristwatch in Space,” reminding wearers of its extraordinary journey. Inspired by astronauts, tailored for terrestrial adventures, the new Cosmonaute limited edition seamlessly blends historic legacy with modern sophistication, a true collector’s dream.
