What do Blake Lively, Chiara Ferragni and Charlize Theron have in common? Well, besides being some of the world’s most stylish women, they’re also all clients of celebrity jeweller Maria Tash.
Maria opened her eponymous fine jewellery label and luxury piercing studio in 1993. Now, 25 years later, she is one of the most highly sought after professionals in her field, not least thanks to her proven ability to create ‘gram-worthy ear piercings with her signature jewels and scientific-meets-aesthetic approach to piercing.
Now, you’ll soon be able to join her expansive celebrity clientele thanks to the opening of the brand’s first store (and piercing studio) in the Middle East this month. Located in The Dubai Mall’s new Fashion Avenue expansion, the 2,100 sq. ft. space will house four custom piercing rooms, as well as a VIP lounge and an extensive array of her earrings.
In a release, Tash said, “I’m delighted to bring my designs and expertise to Dubai which is an exciting luxury destination with an outstanding global reputation. Working with clients from many countries in the Middle East has been a source of inspiration and has allowed me to grow as a jewellery designer.”
The opening of the store marks the brand’s second flagship globally, with the only other store located in New York City.
