Maison Chaumet, renowned for its poetic craftsmanship and 240-year heritage, is reaffirming its deep-rooted connection to nature with a bold new initiative: from 2025, all its gold will be fully traceable, starting with the Bee de Chaumet pendant.
More than just a symbol of elegance, the new pendant is a tangible expression of Chaumet’s environmental and ethical values. Crafted entirely from responsibly sourced, 100% traceable gold, each component, from the bee emblem to the chain, is verified to meet strict sustainability standards. This commitment stems from Chaumet’s partnership with the Swiss Better Gold Association, supporting artisanal mines in their sustainable transition.
As part of the LVMH LIFE 360 program, the Maison also implements eco-conscious practices across its operations, from carbon footprint management to ISO 14001-certified sites. A member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and compliant with the Kimberley Process, Chaumet is steadily transforming the jewellery industry, one meaningful creation at a time.
This is just the beginning: the Maison plans to extend traceable gold sourcing across all its collections, proving that fine jewellery can shine with both beauty and integrity.
