MESSIKA CELEBRATES TWO DECADES WITH ITS ‘TERRES D’INSTINCT’ HIGH JEWELRY 2025 COLLECTION.

Messika hosted a scintillating runway show during Paris Fashion Week.
A celebration of instinct and artistry, Messika’s twentieth-anniversary High Jewelry show transforms diamonds into expressions of freedom and emotion.

Under the vaulted ceilings of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Messika marked its twentieth anniversary with a show that celebrated instinct, emotion, and artistry. The High Jewelry collection ‘Terres d’Instinct’ took place within the historic Palais du Louvre, transforming the museum into a stage where craftsmanship met creative freedom. Inspired by the untamed landscapes of Southern Africa, the collection explored the raw connection between nature and intuition. Diamonds appeared to move with their own pulse, capturing light as if it were alive. There was a sense of spontaneity in the precision, a quiet power that defined both the pieces and the women who wore them.

To honour the occasion, Valérie Messika invited two designers shaping the future of African fashion. Feben, known for her sculptural silhouettes and surreal aesthetic, and Victor Anate of Vicnate, whose work is steeped in modern romanticism, lent their creative voices to the evening. Their presence expanded the Maison’s narrative, grounding the celebration in dialogue and collaboration.

The night opened with a performance by Senegalese icon Youssou N’Dour, whose voice filled the museum with warmth and rhythm. Models including Anok Yai and Anne Mary Aderibigbe brought movement to the jewels, while guests such as Carla Bruni, Eva Herzigova, Kiko Mizuhara, Ice Spice, and Balqees watched from the front row. Later, Davido and Omah Lay took over the after-party, carrying the celebration well into the night.

When Valérie Messika appeared on the runway for the finale, it was a moment of quiet assurance. Over two decades, she has built a brand defined by lightness and emotion, transforming diamonds into pieces that feel intimate and personal. Her creations, from the signature ‘Move’ line to the intricate High Jewelry works, invite the wearer to express confidence through ease rather than grandeur.

With ‘Terres d’Instinct’, Messika reaffirmed what has always set it apart—a belief that jewelry should move with the body and speak to the soul. The collection stands as a tribute to intuition and the enduring power of creation led by feeling rather than formula.
