Part four: The best street style looks from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week

Au revoir Paris!
The last day of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week saw a new level of style on the streets...

Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week has officially ended and to say that the four-day event was a success, would be, well, an understatement.

As usual there was plenty to see and glean from…

Kicking things off on day one of Haute Couture week was Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior, and her vision for a Spring/Summer ’19 showcase came in the form of a Dior circus. Quickly following suit was Chanel – it was one of the most talked-about shows on the calendar, not least because Karl Lagerfeld was nowhere to be seen

We also witnessed a major comeback from Balmain (which after a 16-year hiatus, delivered a futuristic collection by Olivier Rousteing), a breathtaking collection by Valentino (Celine Dion actually shed a few tears) and a slew of Middle Eastern designers including Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, Georges Hobeika and Rami Kadi, taking their latest couture collections to the runway.

However, the shows didn’t take all the spotlight. The street style bunch delivered some expert ensembles, too.

So now, in a post-couture debrief, we’re taking a look at the men and women who brought the best of autumnal dressing to the streets. From monochrome layering to tweed and detailed trench coats, have a look at our favourite looks…
