Buro247ME breaks down the biggest Fall/Winter 2025 trends. Discover our detailed trend report below.

And just like that, a new season has dawned in the fashion world, bringing with it a slew of fresh trends. While the livestreaming of shows and social media-fueled micro trends have undoubtedly challenged fashion’s traditional trickle-down pattern, luxury designers still hold the upper hand when it comes to dictating our wardrobes.

So what do the fashion geniuses have in store for us this season?

This season, the runways were unapologetically bold. Think sparkle that borders on theatrical, fuzz that makes everything look huggable, and accessories so dramatic you could spot them from the other side of the street. While social feeds keep trying to tell you what’s “in” this week, these are the trends that actually matter, straight from the shows and already trickling into closets.

Scroll down to discover the  Fall/Winter 2025 trends that are worth the investment.

DRESS ON PANTS

The early-2000s flashback has grown up. Instead of chaotic mini-dresses over jeans, this season it’s all about fluid satin slips and boho maxi dresses layered over sleek trousers. At Chloé, longline satin midis skimmed over wide-leg pants, while Coach paired ruffled boho dresses with tailored bottoms. It’s the new way to stack your silhouette, and we are here for it.

CROWN JEWELS

This season, headwear got the full spotlight treatment. Crystal-studded veils shimmered under runway lights, pillbox hats gleamed in metallic finishes, and oversized paillettes turned headpieces into wearable disco balls. Designers even leaned into armor-like studded hats, giving a tougher edge to sparkle.

INSIDE OUT

Lingerie isn’t lurking in the shadows anymore. Satin slip dresses with lace trims and silky bias cuts floated down the runways at Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, and Saint Laurent, among others, styled not for bedtime but for broad daylight. Worn with a layer underneath, styled with chunky boots, or left to do all the talking on their own, these pieces prove that what once belonged behind closed doors now belongs in your closet’s front row.

ECO REBEL

Leathers dyed in shades of green took over the runways, marking itself as one of the dominant Fall/Winter 2025 trends. Whether as biker jackets, skirts, or dresses, brands proved the hue works across categories.

DRAMA CLUB

Baroque prints returned in all their maximalist glory. At Versace, gilded motifs stole the spotlight, while Dior reimagined swirls with a modern twist. This isn’t for minimalists. It’s a print meant to dominate the room.

FLUFF ECONOMY

Texture was everything this season, with fuzz leading the charge. Shaggy coats, fluffy shoes, and fuzzy handbags popped across categories. The takeaway? The cozier your outfit, the stronger your look.

CARRY-ON WEIRD

Handbags officially entered absurdist territory. At Moschino they were dressed as everyday objects, ranging from a box of chocolate, spaghetti to a globe (because, why not?), while Lacoste presented tennis skirt-inspired bags. Chanel went for ultra minis, whereas Louis Vuitton made introduced us to Guitar-shaped bags. If your bag sparks a conversation, you’re nailing the trend.

ROCK SOLID

The encrusted look hit new highs. Sequins, crystals, and gems weren’t just sprinkled on; they were piled, layered, and practically welded onto garments. Dresses at Simkhai, Fendi, and McQueen shimmered like chandeliers, while Dolce & Gabbana went all out with bejeweled everything, even boots.

WILD STEP

This season, boots are built for prowling. Leopard spots, zebra stripes, and snakeskin finishes dominate the most coveted pairs, turning footwear into the fiercest statement piece of Fall/Winter 2025. Amongst those taking a ride on the wild side are Balmain, Fendi, Conner Ives, and more.

FRILL SEEKER

This season, collars are demanding your attention. Oversized, ruffled, and theatrical, they framed faces at Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and more. Expect to see a lot of detailing around necklines this season.

SNUGGLE BUDDY

The slouchy clutch is back, and this time it’s sized generously enough to fit your essentials, and more. At Chanel, Gucci, Acne Studios, and more tuck-under styles made accessories look effortless, giving the chic yet nonchalant look.

SPARKLE DOT COM

If sequins whisper, paillettes scream. The runways were covered in oversized discs that caught the light with every move, creating a shimmer effect that we can’t wait to replicate this season. At Dries Van Noten and Etro gowns glistened like liquid metal thanks to tightly-knit rows of paillettes, Carolina Herrera scattered them for a playful finish, while brands like Chanel and Sacai used them as detailing.
