With that being said, regional fashion designer Dima Ayad has teamed up with recognised jewellery designer and artist Nadine Kanso on a collection that features a powerful statement.
Staying faithful to the her mainstay of modern designs, Ayad’s signature white cotton t-shirt with the slogan ‘You… As Is’ has been reimagined and translated into Arabic — أنت… كما أنت — complete in Nadine’s unmistakeable calligraphy imprinted in gold and silver.

Speaking of the wording, Ayad said: “‘You… As Is’ is a message that stems from inspiring and motivating people to be content and to celebrate themselves in the moment as they are. We’re surrounded by people working towards the future and striving to be better – that is definitely worth celebrating, but I think it’s also important that we don’t miss being in the moment; being content with who we are right now.”
