Sustainable fashion seems to be circulating the headlines this week. First, Kate Middleton celebrated a new eco-friendly initiative at Buckingham Palace during London Fashion Week then, Kering announced a debut online course that will focus on fashion and sustainability.
Now, sustainability comes to the fore once again as news emerged overnight that model Arizona Muse is set to launch her own line of eco-friendly evening dresses.
Previously collaborating with Italian label Blazé Milano (who exclusively spoke to Buro 24/7 Middle East about its new trunk show with Matchesfashion.com), Muse sustainably created a range for the fashion label that included two jackets and two coatdresses.
Of the capsule collection, Muse explained to WWD that: “The criteria that I really wanted to follow for this collection was that we used everything sustainable and we’re very, very environmentally conscious about the decisions we made. So all the fabrics and all the materials — the lining, the shoulder pads, the buttons — they’ve all been chosen for their sustainability.”
