Earlier this month, Stella McCartney released the first ever vegetarian leather sneaker in partnership with Adidas, lending her distinctive stamp to the classic sports shoe silhouette. Now, the British designer has revealed an exclusive capsule collection for the Middle East.
The 10-piece collection is inspired by greeting cards from the early 1960s and specifically uses “a print which is photograph of traditional floral arrangements from that time” according to a release. The vivid print has been used on jumpsuits, pants and blouses in the collection, with a selection of muted separates (in the form of high waisted trousers and tops) also available to temper the impact if desired. Each of the pieces is made using Stella’s signature Silk Crepe de Chine material.
