In the midst of the current global pandemic, the world has come together to combat COVID-19. Brands including Valentino, Gucci, Chloe and regionally, Damas and Noon by Noor, have joined the global fight against the coronavirus, and the latest name to join the list is Azzi & Osta.
The Lebanese couture house has teamed up with a new charity, titled Chic Relief, to combat COVID-19 — and in the best way possible.
Remember *that* black gown worn by Beyoncé when she attended the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Awards? Well, Azzi & Osta have decided to auction off a replica of the now-iconic black high collared, long sleeved figure-hugging fishtail dress with proceeds going to those on the frontlines.
The gown will be available on eBay from May 17-27 and the e-commerce platform will be matching the funds raised by the dress, dollar for dollar up to $1 million, to provide protective gear along with other support to front line medical workers across the world.
Not only will the purchase literally save lives but, you can look like Beyoncé (well, almost) at your next night out.
There’s a plethora of other designers taking part in this initiative including Louis Vuitton, Ralph & Russo and Cristian Siriano to name a few.
Now, find out which beauty brand has teamed up with the Emirates Red Crescent to support those healthcare heroes.
