It’s been three years since Marc Jacobs closed his highly popular diffusion label Marc by Marc Jacobs and now, the designer is launching another.
Called “The Marc Jacobs”, the line is launching with the designer’s mainline Pre-Fall 2019 collection and, as per Fashionista, is a “between-season collection, divided into two components: ‘Runway’, comprised of those pieces the brand would design normally, alongside ‘The Marc Jacobs’.”
It is currently being shown to retailers though there is no official press being done as yet.
It’s welcome news for fans of the designer, particularly given the varied news coming out of the brand this year in relation to closures and changing designers.
Could this be the Hail Mary the brand needs? Time will tell.
