Just in: Gucci’s Cruise 2020 show will be held in Rome

Inside the Capitoline Museums
A trip to Rome is in order for Gucci's Cruise 2020 show...

Fash pack, mark your calendars. Gucci‘s Cruise 2020 show is being held in Rome at the Capitoline Museums in May this year, continuing Creative Director Alessandro Michele‘s dialogue with the old world – and this time, drawing from a place reminiscent of his childhood.

Now, as much as Michele thinks outside the box with his super creative collections, producing the kind of innovation that practically silences Silicon Valley, he still maintains the house’s historical lineage by choosing to stay within its native land.

So the Museums offer a unique look inside centuries-old history of Ancient Rome through a rich antiquities collection, which marries up nicely with Michele’s creative conversation with antique worlds. And obvs, he’s going to bring some contemporary flair for his younger customers.

Just think of the Instagram opportunities…

It’s happening on 28 May 2019. Get that airfare deal while you can…
