Earlier this week, Lacoste, Theory, J Brand and Helmut Lang officially confirmed that they will no longer be using mohair in future collections. And it seems that Helmut Lang has taken their approach to be more environmentally-friendly to the next level with the New York-based brand announcing it has teamed up with Parley for the Oceans on a capsule collection.
Having previously teamed up with Adidas on a product where performance meets sustainability, Parley is known for its signature ocean plastic textile, which was developed by upcycling marine plastic waste.
The capsule includes a slew of unisex jackets that are offered in either black or white, and are finished with snap button closures, jet pockets and minimal branding. Also, the two outerwear options include the Stadium Jacket and the Hooded Raincoat.
The Helmut Lang x Parley capsule collection is now available online at Helmutlang.com.
