Lando Norris claimed victory at the 2025 Formula 1® Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, receiving his trophy in a bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk. This marked the first race of the season under the exclusive partnership between Louis Vuitton and Formula 1®, with the Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk being presented for the second time this year, following the FIA Formula One World Championship™ Trophy Trunk.
Designed to protect and showcase the prestigious trophy, the Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk was displayed throughout the weekend, including during the national anthem and the podium ceremony. The trunk’s custom design features green and yellow accents, paying homage to the colors of Australia.
Crafted at Louis Vuitton’s historic atelier in Asnières, France, the trunk embodies the house’s 125-year history of blending craftsmanship with automotive culture, a legacy dating back to Georges Vuitton’s creation of durable trunks for early automobiles.
This iconic collaboration highlights the shared values of teamwork, precision, and innovation between Formula 1® and Louis Vuitton. As the sport’s global appeal surges, the partnership ensures that each triumph is immortalized, reinforcing the belief that “Victory travels in Vuitton,” a motto that continues to celebrate excellence in sports.
