After heading to Asia (more specifically, Bangkok) for his most recent Cruise collection showcase for Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld is going back to the maison’s homeland to deliver next season’s selection of Cruise must-haves.
The brand has just announced that King Karl will stage Chanel’s next Cruise show at the iconic Grand Palais in Paris on May 3, 2019. Interestingly, it is the exact same date and location as last year’s Cruise ’19 showcase.
The location of the upcoming runway show comes as no surprise as the brand is exclusively sponsoring the Grand Palais’ Dhs2.1 billion renovations and has held runway shows in the space in the past.
Following the brand’s Spring/Summer ’19 show at the Grand Palais (during which models casually strolled through an actual beach setup), we expect we’re in for another spectacular showcase in May. Not long to go now…
