Late last year, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the designers behind luxury streetwear label Public School, announced that they were cancelling their February 2018 show as “the company [was] in the midst of stepping away from traditional industry format and launching a new direct-to-consumer concept,” according to WWD.
And up until the weekend, the brand’s name was absent from the upcoming Men’s New York Fashion Week calendar, also. However, Chow and Osborne sent an invite out on Friday inviting guests to an event in TriBeCa which, as per WWD, read, “A piece of ground that belonged to them, on which they could plant their feet, permanency.”
It is unknown what the event will entail and whether a new collection will be presented to those invited guests. Watch this space for more updates.
