Kim Jones’ latest Dior collection included a monogrammed collaboration with Rimowa

Unveiled on the S/S '20 runway...
Kim Jones' latest collection was so on point, ready-to-wear and accessories included...

Last month, LVMH-owned luggage brand Rimowa unveiled its star-studded global campaign and it featured Dior Homme’s Artistic Director, Kim Jones. And whilst we thought that the collaboration between the two ended there, we were wrong.

Together, Kim Jones and Rimowa were cooking up something exciting and finally, it was revealed on the Spring/Summer 2020 runway at Dior’s show during Men’s Paris Fashion Week.

Unlike any other Rimowa collaboration we’re familiar with (think those red Supreme cases or Virgil Abloh’s sold-out transparent suitcases — of which both offered sizes for checked-in baggage), this new partnership focused on smaller travel essentials, and we’re not complaining.

On the menswear runway, the Dior Homme x Rimowa collab featured a backpack, clutch, drinks carrier, hand case and a suitcase made of Rimowa’s signature aluminium. The pieces were then adorned with the Dior monogram, making the ultimate statement on everyday travel essentials.
