Dior Homme launches Dior Denim collection

By Kris Van Assche
With its Paris Men's Fashion Week show just a few weeks away, Dior Homme has announced the release of a denim collection for S/S '18. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the details...

Last month, Dior Homme launched a cool new sneaker and BMX bike at Dubai’s Sole DXB event and now, the house is starting the New Year off on an equally cool note.

It was announced today that the house is releasing a denim collection this month designed by the brand’s Artistic Director, Kris Van Assche. The collection is “a casual reinterpretation of the tropes of a Dior Homme suit” according to the brand and features straight leg jeans, denim shirts and jackets adorned with the Dior logo in silver-embossed black leather.

The pieces are finished in a variety of washes — from indigo to black and bleached — with regular and distressed options available. Graphic prints are another key feature of the collection, adding a distinct edge to the cool pieces, and there’s plenty of double denim looks, too (thankfully without the 2001 Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake connotations).
