The Venice Film Festival red carpet this year was less about uniform trends and more about distinctive choices, with stars embracing looks that spoke to their own style codes. From vintage gems to feathered statements, the variety kept the fashion lens firmly focused on the red carpet.
Archival couture stood out. Amal Clooney wore a vivid fuchsia Jean-Louis Scherrer gown, its bold colour lighting up the carpet, while Mia Goth chose a rare 1991 Gianni Versace couture piece that gave a fresh reminder of the power of fashion history.
Elsewhere, feathers took flight. Cate Blanchett arrived in a Maison Margiela design trimmed with plumage, the gown walking a fine line between elegance and avant-garde. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also leaned into the feathered mood, with her dazzling Armani Privé cut-out gown sweeping across the carpet.
