American-born, Lebanese-bred Rami Kadi has a new role to add to his fashion-driven roster as he was just appointed as the UN’s Goodwill Ambassador for the region’s new Sustainable Fashion Programme.
A red carpet heavyweight designer and celebrity-loved couturier, Kadi is expected to “shed light on the detrimental impacts of the fashion industry on the environment and promote sustainable practices that can be adopted to build back better after the COVID-19 pandemic.”
