Bvlgari has unveiled its newly transformed flagship boutique at the Dubai Mall’s Grand Atrium, where Roman splendor meets Dubai’s avant-garde energy. The refurbished Bvlgari flagship is a meticulously crafted experience designed to transport visitors to the heart of Italy.
The boutique’s aesthetic, inspired by Bvlgari’s Roman roots, is a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. In a node to the brand’s audacious spirit, the store’s façade channels the fluid lines of the ‘Tubogas’ collection. Stepping inside, guests are greeted by a grand atrium framed with travertine marble columns—a timeless Roman hallmark—and crowned with a dome reminiscent of the Pantheon’s coffered ceiling and luminous oculus. It’s a slice of Rome, reimagined just for Dubai.
Adding a dash of dazzle to this Roman piazza-inspired space is a showstopping Murano-glass chandelier by Venini, undulating like the signature curves of the Serpenti collection. From the crema marfil marble flooring to the iconic eight-pointed star, a symbol originating in Bvlgari’s first store on Via Condotti, every detail in the boutique is steeped in heritage.
The revamped boutique also celebrates the intersection of art and luxury. While they shop, visitors can admire works by Italian artist Luca Pignatelli, whose pieces bridge archaeological themes with contemporary expression, and Swiss-French sculptor Antoine Poncet, known for his sleek, abstract forms. Adding a local touch, Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej‘s exclusive print, Dubai, Rome, Bvlgari, pays homage to the shared cultural legacies of these two iconic cities.
To commemorate the grand reopening, Bvlgari has unveiled two exclusive collections. The ‘Serpenti Mandarin Garnet Flame’ set—a high jewelry masterpiece in yellow gold—features a necklace, bracelet, and earrings showcasing 75.53 carats of mandarin garnets, pavé diamonds, and piercing emerald eyes. Over 1,100 hours of meticulous craftsmanship went into creating these fluid, wearable works of art.
Complementing this collection is a trio of High Jewelry Mini Top Handle bags, where leather artistry meets fine jewelry. Each bag boasts a golden snakehead clasp adorned with precious gems like Paraiba tourmaline, pink sapphire, or emeralds set against luxurious material. Presented in bespoke boxes with Latin and Arabic inscriptions, these creations symbolize the cultural dialogue between Rome and Dubai.
Marking Bvlgari’s 140th anniversary, the store also hosts a chapter of the Eternally Reborn exhibition n. This showcase of the Maison’s heritage collection takes visitors through eight decades of Roman-inspired creativity.
