Salvatore Ferragamo explores escapism for Spring/Summer ‘22

Are you summer ready?
Salvatore Ferragamo gears up for a stylish getaway with luxury in tow…

Depicting a season full of optimism, colour and opportunities, Salvatore Ferragamo’s Spring/Summer ’22 campaign is here to give us a dose of liberation and relaxation.

In a series of captivating images – shot through the lens of Hugo Comte – the Italian fashion house enlists a plethora of familiar faces including actor Jharrel Jerome, artist and director Amalia Ulman, and models Greta Hofer, Nyaueth Riam and Xu Meen, who each portray Ferragamo’s fashionable women and men for the season.

Sweeping us into a Mediterranean universe, the fashionable forces take us on a journey set in an idyllic holiday location. Welcome to Hotel Splendid.

Mirroring the visual sensuality of how we dress, the brand’s new collection is elevated through diagonal lines, geometric compositions and saturated colours that put Salvatore Ferragamo’s ready-to-wear and accessories in a completely vibrant perspective.

In the spirit of representing the stars of the silver screen, the pieces include the iconic Vara and Varina designs, the bohemian clogs with Gancini buckle, the mules with woven uppers and the men’s Tramezza moccasin. On the handbags front, the Ferragamo Studio Bag, the Trifolio, and the newest ultra-soft bucket bag appear against garments made with knit and jersey.

The campaign truly gives a revitalised sense of freedom and escapism.
