RAMI AL ALI SS26 COLLECTION DRAWS INSPIRATION FROM MONET

Rami Al Ali’s Spring/Summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection, ‘Dreams of Giverny,’ takes its cues from Monet’s legendary gardens, translating water lilies and wild blooms into sculptural fashion. The designer plays with tension between structure and fluidity, which translates to tubular column dresses, petal-trimmed gowns, and cropped jackets shaped like budding florals, and more. Fabrics move from embossed jacquard silks to whisper-thin chiffons, while a palette of butteryellow, sage green, misty lavender, and pale rose recalls morning light over blooming fields. It’s a collection that feels rooted in Impressionism yet designed with modern wearability in mind.

MDLBEAST XCHANGE IS GOING TO MARRAKECH THIS MONTH

MDLBEAST is taking its cultural muscle to Marrakech with a special edition of XCHANGE, spotlighting Hunna, the foundation’s women-led initiative amplifying female voices in the MENA music scene. To be hosted at The Source Marrakech Hotel on October 9–10, the program centers on the Hunna Listening Circle, a platform for mentorship, visibility, and dialogue, with Moroccan star Manal Benchlikha, cultural entrepreneur Nassereddine Akel, and music industry veteran Mattieu Corosine leading the conversation. It’s a strategic expansion that underscores MDLBEAST’s commitment to reshaping the regional music ecosystem through education, collaboration, and inclusivity.

LOUIS VUITTON BRINGS AN ARCHIVAL WATCH TO THE RUNWAY

Louis Vuitton turned its Spring/Summer 2026 show at the Louvre into a lesson in heritage. Alongside fluid silhouettes that explored intimacy and the private sphere, the house revived a piece of its own history: the ‘LV I’ timepiece, first designed in 1988 by Gae Aulenti. Reimagined not on the wrist but as part of a chain belt, the watch underscored the French Maison’s ability to weave archival design into contemporary storytelling.

LEVI’S & PIXAR ARE COMING TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE TOY STORY

Levi’s is teaming up with Pixar to mark Toy Story’s 30th anniversary with a Western-inspired collection that brings Woody’s cowboy grit and Andy’s toy box nostalgia into denim form. The line reworks Levi’s icons with playful details like a cropped Western Jacket with film-inspired studs, cow-print Rodeo Shirts, and denim patched with Saddleman graphics and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” stitching. Women’s pieces nod to Jessie with spirited silhouettes and chain-stitched “Yodelayheehoo,” while accessories like bandanas, cow-print hats, and a Woody belt push the collaboration firmly into collectible territory.
