Here’s what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have planned later this month

The royal pair will celebrate the legacy of Nelson Mandela
Kensington Palace has just revealed what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have planned after their two-day trip to Ireland...

It’s been almost two months since we witnessed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tie the knot in a beautiful celebrity-filled ceremony and to say that they’ve been busy ever since would be an understatement.

Since they wed on May 19, the royal pair has appeared at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party at Buckingham Palace, then attended the Trooping the Colour parade and were spotted at the Royal Ascot (where Meghan Markle made her debut in Givenchy).

It’s been quite jam-packed schedule, particularly for Meghan Markle, as she also managed to make time for her first solo engagement with the Queen in Cheshire.

Now, Kensington Palace has shared what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have planned later this month and it’s pretty exciting.

Following the newlyweds’ trip to Dublin, Ireland, next week (marking the second time the pair has visited the country), the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will then attend a new exhibition that will celebrate the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that the pair will “visit the Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall on July 17. The exhibition explores the life and times of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela and marks the centenary of his birth.”

The exhibition (which is free to the public and run until August 19) will explore six different themes — character, comrade, leader, prisoner, negotiator and statesman — of the South African political leader. During the event, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will also meet with people associated with the exhibition and with Mandela’s work.

The next stop for the pair will be in Ireland on July 10-11, so make sure to watch this space.
