Whilst there’s plenty to marvel at this Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai Lights is perhaps a favourite on our to-do list. This season, DSF is bringing six unique artists from around the world to exhibit their artworks around the city. The artistic and interactive illustrations have been exhibited in the longest-running light festival in Amsterdam and have made their way to four locations across Dubai including DIFC – Gate Avenue, La Mer, The Pointe and Last Exit, Khawaneej.
At the Pointe, Talking Heads visually respond to each other through light (it’s highly Instagrammable), La Mer features a race away on Light Battle X and witness the Rhizome installation, DIFC Gate Avenue showcases City Gazing Dubai, a tailor-made installation based on Dubai with a unique soundtrack, and lastly, dine by the water at Last Exit, Khawaneej, and take in the beautiful Infinita which is based on a geometrical form: the tetrahedron.
