Considered to be one of the best-dressed celebrities we spot on the red carpet, Selena Gomez is a beauty bombshell (seriously, she always slays the red carpet).
And thankfully for us, she’s set to share her beauty secrets as she has her sights set on launching a namesake beauty brand.
According to WWD, it was the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that stated that the actress and musician filed a trademark for “Selena Gomez” for a number of beauty products including “fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturisers and essential oils,” among others. The trademark was filed by July Moon Productions — Gomez’s production company.
Whilst further details are yet to be released, we can probably expect a variety of natural shades as her makeup artist Hung Vanngo (who we interviewed last year), usually enhances Gomez’s look with neutral tones, and a slight pop of colour.
It really doesn’t come to us as a surprise that the musician-turned-producer entered the beauty business for her latest venture. Her move follows Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Victoria Beckham’s sustainable beauty brand.
