Kylie Jenner has made hundreds of millions of dollars since she began her eponymous beauty brand. In fact, she’s almost a billionaire thanks to the business. From lip kits to eyeshadow palettes, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family has asserted her dominance in the cosmetics field and now it appears she’s looking to expand her kingdom.
Overnight, it was revealed that Kylie has filed for a couple of trademark applications, most notably for Kylie Skin by Kylie Jenner. According to Trademark Ninja, the filing covers moisturisers, face scrubs, toners, oils, serums and mists. Interestingly, the KUWTK star also filed two trademark applications for Kylie Skin, one of which listed “retail store services featuring skin care products, skin care preparation products, cosmetics, cosmetic preparations and gifts.”
It would make sense that Kylie would want to expand her burgeoning empire, however it’s important to note that businesses file for trademarks often and sometimes don’t use them. Although we think this one is a pretty slam dunk move…
