Luxury niche French perfumer Ex Nihilo has long had a strong fanbase in the Middle East and with good reason. The company excels at delivering boutique fragrances that last from morning until evening without losing impact.
The brand has just released its newest fragrance, Cuir Celeste, which is inspired by a vintage B3 bomber jacket worn by French photographer Mathieu César. It was created by renowned perfumer Quentin Bisch (who recently worked on Van Cleef’s new scent, as well as L’Artisan Parfumeur). According to a release, the scent “mixes leather notes with Ambrette, addictive Violet leaves, Patchouli and Musk as olfactory links between past and future.”
To celebrate its relationship with the Middle East and the upcoming 47th UAE National Day, the brand has released the new scenet in a limited edition sleeve reflective of the architecture of the city’s slick architecture. It “embodies a prominent shiny silver 47 filled up with fluid lines referring to the air flow surrounding the unique and most elegant in the world Dubai futuristic architecture.” The packaging is also finished with a signed logo created specifically for the occasion.
Cuir Celeste is now available for purchase at the Ex Nihilo counter in Bloomingdale’s Dubai.
